EXCEPTION:
If you are buying multiple items from me, WAIT for invoice before paying, as
shipping cost will need to be adjusted (downward only). The amount of the
adjustment will vary according to items purchased.
I accept PayPal. I do not accept any
other form of payment.
Shipping . . .
I make every effort to ship items on
the same or next business day after payment clears. I do not ship
on Saturdays or Sundays. Occasionally, it may be the second business day after
payment has cleared before your item can be shipped. This is rare, but it could
happen (in case of illness, weather disasters . . .).
I
will only ship to a U.S. address. Only. EXCEPTION: Some items may be
listed with the e-bay Global Shipping Program. For such items, international
bidders in countries eligible for e-bay's Global Shipping Program are welcome.
I will ship to e-bay’s US shipping center and then they take over the
responsibility for shipping out of the country to you. Customs import duties,
etc., if any, are the responsibility of the buyer and are not controlled or
calculated by seller (me).
I charge the lowest shipping and handling possible for safe delivery of
your purchase. Postal rates are beyond my control, so please be kind when you
rate the transaction! Total weight and size of the package plus cost of
materials (seldom more than $1 for materials) is how the cost is figured. I try
very hard to keep the packages light so they will cost less, but, especially
with breakable items, I do have to use enough packing materials, including
bubble wrap which is EXPENSIVE) to prevent a one-piece item from becoming a
twenty-piece item during shipping! This does add to the total weight and size
of the package. I usually ship Priority Mail, because it includes tracking and
insurance (up to a $50 item). Even though other shipping methods may appear to
be cheaper, if insurance has to be purchased separately then the savings are
usually little if anything.
Please be aware that signature on
delivery may be required. If so, this is already included in the shipping cost
you see. (Please keep this in mind when leaving detailed feedback for me
regarding my shipping costs.) Please e-mail me before paying if you have any
questions about shipping, delivery confirmation, insurance, so that if any
adjustments need to be made, we can take care of that at the proper time.
Be sure to see any other listings I
have at this time – shipping certainly can be combined in most cases.
Please e-mail me if you are bidding on multiple items, just to make sure I keep
them all together for you! You will also want to wait for an invoice, as
the total shipping should be at least a little less that way!
Return Policy . . .
While I often list items as “no returns
accepted”, I still want you to be happy with your purchase. In general, I only
accept returns if you believe you
received the wrong item or the item was materially misdescribed. This applies to ALL of my listings,
whether returns are "accepted" or "not accepted".
Therefore, before bidding, please read the item description carefully and look
at the pictures; then, ask questions if you need more information. I’ll be glad to answer to the best of
my ability.
When you receive your item(s), I trust
you will be pleased with your purchase. If you are not, contact me via e-bay Messages within 3 days of receiving the
item, explaining the problem. Then we can
communicate to arrange its safe and prompt return. The sooner I get it back,
the sooner you get a refund.
Buyer pays return shipping – C.O.D.’s
are extremely expensive and will NOT be accepted under any circumstances. Your
cooperation in this will be much appreciated, and will help us both.
(If you have a reason other than “wrong
item” or “materially misdescribed” for wishing to return your purchase, please
explain it, and I will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. This
means I may or may not agree to accept a return of the item, at my sole discretion.)
Shipping costs for original shipping
and/or return shipping will be refunded only if required by e-bay or
PayPal policies as existing on the date the item is won, or if I agree to
do so based on the individual circumstance of the return.
Any returned item must be in the same
condition as when sent to you, and must
be postmarked no later than 14 days after your receipt of the item. No
returns accepted without authorization from me . No exceptions. Thank you.
Of course, I really hope you are happy
with your purchase. In that case, none of this return policy fine print will
make any difference to you at all!
