Vintage Handmade Yarn Dolls, Embroidered Faces (1940s?)

What a darling pair of handmade dolls! They are only 8" tall with embroidered faces, braided yarn arms and legs, and carefully styled yarn hair. Their faces appear to be made of muslim cloth slipped over their yarn doll heads.

These two have been in rough storage so they would need a careful cleaning to look their best. They do not have an odor- they just got left where dust could settle into them.
