Block of 4 genuine U.S. postage stamps, issued in 1957 to honor Civil War Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

These stamps are called a "plate block" because it is the corner block of 4 from the original sheet of 100 stamps which shows the plate number of the printing press on which these stamps were printed. The actual plate number or corner position that you receive may be different than the one shown in this auction, but will be comparable quality.

All stamps are in mint, post office fresh condition.
