With a large and ergonomic case, the MARE model draws inspiration from the world of water sports, perfectly expressing Locman's True Spirit, a free and charismatic spirit, who seeks true and deep contact with nature. In continuity with Locman's tradition, which from the beginning sees the Tuscan company engaged in research on new materials and their use in watchmaking, MARE is characterized by a 316L steel case - the same alloy used in the surgical field. THEThe caseback is in satin-finished titanium and is closed with four screws. The silicone compound used by LOCMAN for the straps is a soft-touch material, much more resistant than rubber, known for its particular resistance to thermal excursions and UV rays. MARE is equipped with a screw-down knurled crown, with logo engraved on the top, which ensures water resistance up to 100 meters deep (10 ATM). The chronograph pushers are equipped with a double silicone gasket, also guaranteeing the underwater seal. The MARE mineral glass is made more resistant and transparent thanks to an ad hoc sapphire treatment. On the occasion of the launch of the MARE model, Locman has created a partnership with the MAREVIVO association, which has been fighting nationally and internationally for the defense and protection of the sea for over thirty years. In the next few years Locman will be alongside Marevivo in this battle and will donate part of the revenues from the sale of Mare watches to the association.
