All my offered pre-production models are genuine Lesney-made items! This guarantee covers ALL my listings including the vintage Matchbox related paper material. Pre-production model for the never released No. 35C Merryweather Fire
Engine. This beautiful model would have been issued in july or august of
1969 but instead was one of the first models to be converted to the
"Superfast" range. Metallic silver body, red plastic base and interior,
clear windows, white ladder, silver wheels with black tyres. Lots of
casting differencies to the later production models: no side panels
above the side valves ( these were added to place the "London Fire Service" labels there ),
no running boards on the lower body between the axles, the four square
rear openings for the hoses are still cast open, no ribs to rear section of
the roof. Base already with No. 35 but still without the copyright year.
Played with, chipped paint, both corners of the front bumper are broken
off. Structural fine, wheels and axles are ok. One of two known
expamples in this colour combination.

Shipping: I ship worldwide! And yes, i will of course combine shipping for items bought on different sites from me whenever possible. All my items are located in Germany and will usually shipped from there.
Returns: I do offer a 14 day return option in case you are not completely satiesfied with your purchase. Will refund full price paid by you once the item has been returned in the same condition as it was shipped from here, buyer will have to pay the return postage.
US customers: I frequently travel to the US and can always bring rare & expensive items with me and ship them from over there or meet you in person at nearly every corner within the US. Just get in touch with me. Will be at the yearly "Matchbox Collectors Gathering" in Albuquerque in july.
