Gorgeous! This lovely antique night gown night shirt dates from the middle of the 1800s. Lovely heavy weight natural toned linen, there is a slight pattern in the weave. Features beautiful delicate lace yoke and a lovely red work hand embroidered monogram "MG". Such a great natural, slightly coarse texture!
It is in very nice vintage condition-there are age related spots. I have not laundered this lovely gown.
The photos just do not capture the true charm of this lovely gem.
