The delivery takes place as running metres. The smallest quantity you can order is 1 and the maximum is 91 running metres. The material has a width of 1.52 metres, i.e. if you buy 1 metre, you will receive 1.52 m². Only whole running meters can be ordered. The material is shipped in max. 10 metre long pieces (example: 20 metres = 2 packages).

EASY AND QUICK TO INSTALL

3M Thinsulate™ has the same waterproof PP cover fleece on both sides. This means there is no right or wrong side while installing. The light weight (Basis weight 332 g/m²) makes it easy to handle and even though it is 41 mm thick, you can cut it with a regular pair of scissors. No extra tools required.

All this makes is an easy and convenient material to insulate your caravan without any prior knowledge or training.

General Description

3M Thinsulate™ is a high performance compressible acoustic insulation. It fits a wide range of applications where varying thickness is highly desired, such as door trim panels and body side trim panels. The product's uniquely high performance and its low density are ideal for mass reduction applications.

General Construction

The web is composed of 50% polyester staple fibres, and 50% polypropylene fibres. The polypropylene fibres are extremely fine, producing the high-energy absorption characteristic with the low weight. The polyester fibres are added to strengthen the web. The scrim attached to both sides is a 100% polypropylene non-woven fabric.
