AM125 Silicone RTV mold making rubber is simple 1:1 mix by volume. It is easier to use than most other silicone RTV mold making rubber products, which must be weighed with a digital scale.  AM125 is a tin-based condensation cure RTV silicone mold making rubber.

AM125 can be used for making molds for soap, candles, board waxes, plaster, and urethane plastics. The pot life is 15 minutes, and it sets in 75 minutes. AM125 pours very easily and picks up fine detail. No vacuum degassing equipment is needed. No mold release is required unless using with other silicones, silica, some ceramics, and glass. Using a mold release will extend the life of your mold. We recommend a petroleum based release between silicones.

Always make a small test to ensure the suitability of this mold making product for your particular application. AM125 is a tin based silicone. Some epoxies will not cure properly when used with a tin based mold.

Generally, silicone RTV mold making rubber does not stick to anything, and nothing will stick to it. The exception is that silicone RTV rubber will stick to itself, other silicones, silica, and glass. If you need to release silicone from itself, use a petroleum based mold release for silicone.
