This auction is for an Antique German porcelain Rooster liquor decanter with 6 cups from the 1920s. The Rooster decanter is yellow with bright red blue and green.  The cups are yellow luster.  The cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal the opening. The Rooster measures approximately  8" long, 3" wide and 3-1/2" tall. The shot glasses measure approximately 1-5/8" tall, 1-5/8" diameter.  The Rooster has an impressed "GERMANY" on the back and the bottom is marked with a red crown mark, it reads "Celebrate" -  Germany Registered".  The Rooster's tail is chipped.  I show a closeup in the last photo.  There should be a plate but it is missing.  This is an "As-Is" auction so please see all photos and feel free to ask questions.

The Rooster comes with a note from previous owner.  "For Peggy,  The tea pot of Great Grandmother Mary Virginia Josephine Whitt Hammett".  I wonder if Great Grandma had a taste for peppermint schnapps and told the kids it was Tea!
