  • Early Wynn was a nine time all-star Starting Pitcher for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, and Chicago White Sox, winning the 1959 Cy Young Award with the White Sox, and winning 300 games in his career. He was a Blue Jays broadcaster from 1977 to 1980.
  • Cheek was the 2013 winner of the Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasting and contributions to baseball, and died in 2005 at the age of 66
  • Wynn was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, and died in 1999 at the age of 79
