I bought this extra large dog cage last year. It was only used for two months for a new kitten to give him his own space should he need it and to make him feel comfortable and secure. I packed it up after a couple of months as it was taking up too much space and my cat adjusted to his new environment very quickly. This cage is designed for dogs… I think a medium to large dog could easily fit in comfortably. But please check dimensions. It comes with an easy to clean slide in tray.
