A handsome and rare antique Arts and Crafts era carved wooden documents case and ink blotter.

It is made from heavily carved wood which has been stained with a typical Arts and Crafts style design front and verso.

The folder is lined with a deep cobalt blue velvet and has a pocket inside for storing papers.

Perhaps belonging to a scribe or an artist, an interesting and very well carved piece.

This would make a great piece of decor or a perfect gift for the avid crafter, writer or scrapbooker.

Unmarked early 20th century, C1900s.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, ink remnants and wear inside to the velvet lining, some small marks to the outer, not tightly bound but not designed to be and some loose fabric, fair amount of wear internally.
