Description/Synopsis:

The canning company wanted salmon that grew faster and larger. So it tinkered with the fish's genetic structure. But something went wrong. And soon the tiny fishing town of Noyo, until now a sleepy village, confronts the ultimate modern ecological horror: sea beasts - half-man, half-fish - obsessed with destroying the men and carrying off its young women to bear the monstrous offspring of their unnatural mating. No one, least of all the lovers on the local beaches, is safe from these humanoids from the deep. Together, Jim Hill (Doug McClure) and the beautiful young scientist who started it all, Susan Drake (Ann Turkel), fight to defeat the inhuman monsters. Battling alongside them are Hank Slattery (Vic Morrow), who wanted tho town to have the cannery at any cost, and Johnny Eagle (Anthony Penya), the Indian trying to save his land from just such ecological devastation. In the end it is Drake who is left to confront the progeny of her experiments, their ultimate outrage... "Monster" grafts this modern ecological fable onto a traditional monster movie plot, a grimly sexual descendant of "Creature from the Black Lagoon", which is very much in the spirit of producer Roger Corman's other underwater horror classics ("Attack of the Crab Monsters", "Creature from the Haunted Sea").

Overseas buyers (especially US buyers) please read:

This is a Region B release that will only play on European players and on players from Australia/New Zealand. It will NOT play on other region locked players. Please check compatibility of your equipment, before you place an order as refunds cannot be given due to incompatibility. If you're unsure whether you can play the Blu-Ray disc in your country, please contact me.

Customs (UK):

All eBay UK listings include British VAT and for all shipments to the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) eBay collects and remits UK VAT to HMRC. A customs declaration form is attached to all shipments and the shipping documents will bear evidence that VAT has been collected. With this information on the shipping documents and considering the item values, the shipments should clear customs quickly. Shipments to Northern Ireland and shipments to any EU country do not need customs clearance. Whether or not you're required to pay customs fees when buying from other countries depends on the item value and the customs rules of your country.

Customs (EU and Nothern Ireland):

Shipments to Northern Ireland and shipments to any EU country do not need a customs declaration.

Customs (All other countries):

Whether or not you're required to pay customs fees depends on the item value and the customs rules of your country.

Returns and Refunds:

Unless not stated otherwise in the description the items are new and sealed. Items may be returned within 30 days after receipt for a full refund of the initial payment (item price and delivery charges). Items have to be returned in the same condition they have been received. That means that new and sealed DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs or other media can only be returned as long as they are still sealed. By breaking the seal on those items the unconditional right to return them and to cancel a purchase expires. Unless not agreed otherwise the buyer has to cover return postage and is responsible for choosing an appropriate shipping method. When an item is faulty it can be returned for an exchange and the return delivery cost will be refunded through eBay Payments. When an item is not as described (objectionable inaccuracies being limited to region coding, available languages and subtitles) it can be returned for a full refund including return delivery cost. Please note that incompatibility with the equipment (e.g. wrong region or buyer ordered a Blu-Ray instead of a DVD) does not qualify as deficiency.

Shipments to non-European destinations:

Due to the ongoing Corona crisis and service disruptions delivery to non-European destinations can take much longer than usual. To ensure a reasonable delivery estimate some destinations require very expensive express shipping services.

Delivery to the UK:

Due to the Brexit and the ongoing Corona crisis delivery may take longer than usual and unexpected delays are possible. To take that into account I have chosen a shipping and handling time of 5 business days.
