Extreme Rugged Pet AirTag Case

Based on our popular rugged AirTag case, designed to secure everything from dirt bikes to pizza delivery boxes to generators, our new Pet case provides extra AirTag security and protection for tracking your beloved pets.

These cases screw together, are O-Ring sealed to keep out water, mud and slobber, and are locked closed by a grade 5 titanium alloy ring,

This ain't no 14k gold and leather fancy-schmancy keychain case to show off for looks.  It's a no-nonsense, ultra-tough case designed to help protect your pet's AirTag in water, mud, snow, and worse, so it can track your pet if they decide to go on a little adventure (or are dognapped).  Available in black and bright orange (purple coming first week of Feb 2022).

Do you have a dog that loves the outdoors? Our yellow lab sure does, and that includes diving into every creek, river and big puddle, digging and rolling in snow, and anything else he can find. We designed this case to keep the AirTag securely attached to his collar, while protecting it from the extreme elements. After all, if the AirTag comes loose, comes apart or fails due to the elements, what good is it? This case ensures that can't happen.

Apple AirTag Not Included.

Note: This case exceeds the operating temperature range of the Apple AirTag (-22º to 140º F / -30º to 60º C), however you should not mount the AirTag in any location which will expose it to temperatures outside that range or the AirTag may be damaged.  Avoid mounting near engines, exhaust, or other sources of heat that exceed 140º F (60º C).

Instructions
  • Remove the titanium ring. These rings open by pushing the split end to the side, similar to a key chain ring.
  • Locate seam between the bottom and top halves of the case.
  • Using a counter-clockwise rotation ("lefty-loosey, righty-tighty") unscrew the top half from the bottom half. Due to O-Ring compression, moderate force may be required at first, as the halves tightly and firmly seal together.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PRY CASE APART.  Assuming you can even apply enough force, the case will break before it can ever be pried apart in that manner.
  • Insert AirTag into the half that has the exposed threads sticking out. We recommend inserting the AirTag with the shiny part facing outwards towards you. This allows for easier removal in the future by catching the edge of the metal with your fingernail.
  • Align threads of the two halves together, and rotate clockwise to close.
  • When the O-Ring seal begins to compress it will require more force to continue rotating. Continue rotating until the halves are evenly aligned with one another.
  • Attach the titanium ring back on the case, using the same method as removing it (push the split end to the side, insert into the case hole, rotate the ring until it has fully closed back).
  • Attach to your pet's collar using the titanium ring.
Removal: Cut zip ties, then follow the instructions again to open the halves. You will have to use new zip ties to re-mount. These can be obtained from most any retailer, such as Walmart, Dollar General, eBay, auto stores, etc.
