Concordia Entre La Quietud, Y La Fatiga De La Oracion-IN SPANISH, VELLUM, 1688

​I have acquired a nice grouping of very early (1600s-1700s) books that are IN SPANISH and bound in vellum. This title page for this book reads "Concordia Entre La Quietud, Y La Fatiga De La Oracion. Propuesta a Por E. M.R.P. Pablo Seneri de la Compania de Jesus, en la respuesta de una Carta a una Persona Religiosa." English translation of the title page appears to be: "Concord between the Stillness and the Fatigue of Prayer. Proposal for the M.R.P. Pablo Seneri of the Society of Jesus, In Response to a Letter to a Religious Person." Published in Barcelona for Rafael Figuero, 1688. The vellum binding shows wear, rippling and a tear on the spine. The title page is loose, stained and worn. The remainder of the text is sound and complete, although there is obvious dampstaining. Cover hinges are cracked. Measures 6 X 8 1/8, 238 pages. I am not able to provide any further information about this book. I will offer this very early book for only $400.00 plus $5.00 S&H in the US.
