1969 first edition Claremont Men's College (Claremont, California), 8 3/4 x 11 1/4 inches tall brown and beige buckram cloth hardbound, no dust jacket (as issued), copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, unpaginated. Light rubbing and edgewear and moderate to heavy staining to covers. Prior owner name to upper margin of blank front free-endpaper. Moderate foxing to page edges and front and rear prelims, with occasional mostly marginal foxing throughout. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, and unmarked. 

The 1969 yearbook for Claremont Men's College, located in Claremont, California on a 69-acre campus 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Founded in 1946 as an independent private liberal arts men's college with a curricular emphasis on economics, government, and public affairs, it became coeducational in 1976 and changed its name to the current Claremont McKenna College. The college focuses primarily on undergraduate education, but in 2007 it established the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, which offers a master's program in finance. As of 2015, there are 1,293 undergraduate students and 20 postgraduate students. Forbes ranks Claremont McKenna as the 18th-best college in the nation, the 6th-best liberal arts college, and the 3rd-best college in the West in the 2015 rankings.
