Ripstop is a strong durable fabric that is surprisingly thin, lightweight and water-resistant. This material doesn't tear easily, and has a stabilized finish which means minimal stretch.  Ripstop fabric has raised squares in the fabric to prevent it from ripping and is great for outdoor use, including waterproof jackets... Perfect for kite and tent making, flags, banners, bags, home and garden decorations etc.
