Gammi tubular tire bags are made from suede leather using a template based on the original, well-known Italian bags. Like the originals, each bag is slotted to accept a toe strap (not included) that is used to secure the bag and tire to your saddle's rails.

I love the original tubular tie bags made back in the 1980s. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. But man, are they had to find. For those of you who agree those bags cool as hell, here's our take on the bags.

The bags come in one size and will hold double-rolled tires up to 700c x 28mm. A velcro closure helps hold the bags closed.

Bags can be placed under the saddle with the opening facing forward or backward (We prefer forward.) and the velcro-closure facing upward or downward (We prefer upward.). We've never seen any literature from the Italians describing how the bags should be placed on bikes, so we took it upon ourselves to experiment. It seemed logical that the bag should protect the tire from UV rays and bad weather. With this in mind, we like to run the bags with the least month of tire exposed to the elements and that's with the closed sides facing toward the back of the saddle and toward the ground. But we've seen them  mounted in the opposite way. It's up to you, really. The way we do it, however, does require a longer toe strap.

Available in red, blue, black, camel, sienna, chocolate, root beer and walnut. Chocolate, root beer and walnut are all very similar in color, but vary a bit. Root beer is the warmest of the three. Walnut is cooler. Chocolate is about in the middle.

Works with Cinelli, Selle San Marco, Selle Italia and other saddles. Fits Challenge, Gammi Sport, Vittoria, Clement and other tubular tires.
