This is a very nice, handcrafted, crystal controlled shortwave AM radio transmitter which operates on 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 MHz bands. The operating is selectible by a rotary bandswitch and the output power is 2.0 Watts (2000 mW). The transmitter is amplitude modulated (AM) and you can connect a music source such as CD player, mobile phone, MP3 player, tablet or casette player to this transmitter for music broadcasting. This unit will be a good shortwave home station especially for your vintage radios. It operates on 12 Volts DC with a power supply (power supply not included). You need a good quality DC 12V power adapter and a wire antenna (5-10 meters long) to run this transmitter. A 150W 200V RF power mosfet is  used at the output section to withstand high VSWR levels due to random type mismatched antennas.
