Large lot of ephemera from estate of Edward F. Smith and wife Florence, daughter Edna (Smith) Lewellen, and a couple of early items from James C. Riggin, father of Florence Smith.  Edward F. Smith was born in 1856 and died in 1923, while a member of the Missouri State House as a representative of Savannah, MO.  He'd served as Savannah's mayor, a banker, farmer, etc.  He was married to Florence A. (Riggin) Smith, 1854-1929, and they had a daughter, Edna (1883-1965), who married Bafford S. Lewellen.  They were the parents of two honored WW2 Navy officers, Bafford Edward Lewellen and Robert Simpson Lewellen.  I'm listing the Lewellen family items in a separate ebay lot later today.

I'll go through and give a partial listing of the items here, perhaps most interesting to citizens of Savannah, Missouri.

Everything in pretty good shape, excepting the newspapers which have folds and tears and missing sections

If this is an auction listing there is no "Buy it Now" price--please don't ask.  We don't end auctions early.  If this is a "Buy It Now" listing we do not participate in the "Make An Offer" program--no haggling. Prices are our best price.  Just takes too much time with so many listings. We don't answer offers.

See scans or photos for condition. Happy to answer questions.

Glad to combine shipping on multiple items: Please email me BEFORE you pay for multiple items so I can reduce your shipping cost. The best method is to put multiple items in your cart and then click on the "Ask for an Invoice" button.

Good feedback automatically given reciprocally--when you provide feedback we automatically provide it to you.

And finally, we don't do "Partial Refunds".  You must return the item so we can offer it to the underbidder.
