Overview:
For sale is ONE (1) Miranda frame populated with HDA-1832 Reclocking DA cards. Good to very good working & cosmetic condition, just removed from the service. Frame has two power supplies plus CPU-ETH Frame controller. All corresponding backplanes are included. Backplanes are HDA-18NN-DRP which allow you to fully use 1x9 configuration. There are some scratches and signs of use. Power supplies have cooling fans. Since they are used, some of these might need to be replaced in the future. There is nothing critical as of yet. We have several units for sale (1 per listing price). This is one of them. All others are in same condition. If you are looking for any other Miranda modular cards - we probably have them. Description:
The 2 RU Densité 2 Frame can simultaneously process 3G, HD, SD and analog video, as well as AES and analog audio. Its front-opening frame features dual hot-swappable power supplies (PSUs) and fans. Modules for the air-cooled frame are also hot swappable, and replacement modules can be configured automatically. All modules, redundant PSUs and fans are monitored to deliver status via GPI or an Ethernet port. Front panel multicolor LEDs provide status reporting, while a controller card allows card adjustments from the front panel.
The HDA-1832 is a reclocked HD/SD SDI DA with up to 9 outputs and automatic equalization for up to 110 meters (Belden 1694A). Reclocking of the video signals provides an additional level of signal integrity in long cable length applications. The HDA-1832 DA supports both HD-SDI (SMPTE-292M) and SDI (SMPTE-259M-C) and also offers signal presence detection and remote reporting.
