Solar Cell Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
The solar cell maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is to ensure that the photovoltaic cell always outputs the maximum power when the light intensity changes, so as to make full use of the solar energy. In general, it is necessary to use a switch-mode DC-DC converter to realize the MPPT function to keep the product of output voltage and charging current (output power) maximized.
CN3722 is to use the switch step-down mode DC-DC conversion method to achieve the maximum power point tracking function of photovoltaic cells. Its input voltage can reach up to 28V, which is very suitable for applications where the input voltage and battery voltage are quite different.
Charging Management Board Features
1. MPPT solar maximum power tracking charging management chip, with trickle current, constant current, and constant voltage charging management functions.
2. Imported high frequency low conduction internal resistance MOS tube, high current diode, shielded alloy powder high power inductor, alloy current detection resistor.
3. A large area of copper-clad with holes on the back to ensure long-term stable operation of high current.
4. Prevent the battery from flowing back into the solar panel at night (anti-reflux), and it cannot be reversed.
5. Dual status indicator lights, the red light flashes and the green light is always on when the battery is not connected; the red light is on when charging, the charging will stop automatically when the battery is fully charged, and the green light is on at the same time.
