I am breaking up
another very nice Scott International Album collection into individual country
offerings. This is a 50 volume set. Here is a great opportunity to obtain just
the countries you desire.
Pages in
general start with the earliest issues and continue to 2007. This
collection is assembled from supplements printed in different years. While all
are typical and similar in style there may be minor variations in print or
style as would be expected in a collection like this.
I counted the
pages once. Count could be off as I did not double check. But count will be
close if not exact. When counting I watched the dates at the top of the facing
page to see if they were generally in order as one might expect. I did not go
over every single page other than flipping. From what I've observed pages are
in order through the collection but that is not to say there could not
be a page missing here or there. There may be additional pages not counted
in the listed total but sent because they include stamps you may
like to have. Their condition is not considered and is included as is.
The pages to 1940 are more heavily used. Then to the 1970’s still often used with the newest pages mostly lightly to unused generally speaking. Earlier pages are more likely to have pencil marks (mostly catalog numbers added). Stamp location boxes on pages to around mid 1970 do not have catalog numbers from the printer. Then from mid 1970’s to date usually will include catalog numbers. Catalog numbers are not assured.
Pages are in nice
condition... NO rips, missing pieces, large crumpled creases or the like. Of
course there could be shelf wear so to speak or minor creases as one might
encounter in a used album. No significant issues unless noted. Holes are
in good condition. I have seen none in need of repair at this time. I may repair some as required but have not
seen the need thus far. Any holes repaired will not be considered a defect as
these are used pages and may need a bit of attention with age. All pages are used,
useful, seemingly complete, and just fine to start a collection. Again this was
part of a 50 volume Scott International Album collection. Quite an investment
for a collector to acquire so you can expect it had been well cared for. But do
expect some wear from use and moving about. You will find these useful pages to
continue using.
Many countries
pages contain stamps that I will only lightly, if at all, touch upon. They are
basically unchecked and along for the ride. I am selling pages at a fair price
and the stamps are a bonus. I may make a guess at stamp count but usually not. Stamp
count is a TOTAL GUESS. Use it as only a guide. You will find a few countries
where I do see stamps of significantly more value and those pages will be
higher priced. Watch for any loose stamps also included.
Not all pages are
shown. I usually include the first page, a few middle and last of main stamps
and maybe a BOB page. If you are inclined please look at the other pages
from this same album collection (INT5) in my other eBay listings. It will give
you an idea of the condition overall.
These should
combine easily for shipping. I will do my best to save you money on shipping.

Any notes above this line are more specific to this auction generally outlining condition.
Generally, a disclaimer applied to all auctions.....
Stamps EXPECT faulty! Many nice stamps (unless noted above otherwise) but these are old albums and you should not expect all stamps to be fault free. I do not count stamps with a fault that I notice. Stamps are in mixed condition. I have viewed hundreds of albums. Comments are made based on my experiences and my not be reflective of the albums you have viewed. I do not look at many stamps closely....again expect faults!
Some stamp estimates are roughly fast counted estimates other numbers are simply a guess. Consider any count numbers only a guide......a ROUGH ESTIMATE... a GUESS. Often I was doing two things at once so mistakes could have happened!
Albums - Expect faults. I try to note. Some could be hidden (like loose pages). Some albums I sell are well over 100 years old. Some are like new. They vary!
I have tried to note any exceptions.
Generally, postage can be combined. I try to cover my costs and not make money on postage. Sometimes the combined postage saving is great....sometimes not so much, just depends on the material. Global shipping cannot be combined.
If you notice extended shipping times it is due to conflicts I see that could cause a delay the day the auction closes.....work, travel, family, weather...... I try to ship within 24 hours of your payment. Sometimes an unknown delay is unavoidable and I usually try to send a note. Do not expect weekend shipment. Basically, I ship VERY fast unless I cannot!
I only ship out of the United States using the eBay Global Shipping Program. I cannot get around it if you purchase and eBay does not ship to your location. I cannot cancel the transaction. I am locked out of the transaction until you pay. Please do not purchase if your country is not shipped to by eBay Global Shipping Program. Import or other charges that could be imposed by others are your responsibility and out of my control. Combined shipping is not possible on international shipments.
Per eBay... The Global Shipping Program already provides your buyer with an invoice for all applicable item, shipping, and import charges. Unfortunately, you can't edit these charges, even to offer a shipping discount. When your buyer pays, just ship the item to the US shipping center specified, and the Global Shipping Program will forward it to the buyer. Your buyer will directly pay you the purchase price of the item, plus any domestic shipping cost you specified in the listing.
Everything sold as is. I am not able to accept returns. Please be sure the material and terms meet your needs.

I tend to leave feedback every few weeks.
