TIFFANY & CO. STERLING SILVER PORRINGER, Early 20th century, stamped "Tiffany&Co. 5785 Makers 8888 925-1000" and "5 Gills".  Condition is nearly pristine, with two minor dents the only issues. Otherwise, in the round, with a few hairline scratches on inner sides of bowl. There is no wear to the handle. The monogram appears to read "LHG". Measurements are 8.25 inches from tip of handle to side of bowl; 5.25 inches edge to edge of bowl; 2 inches deep. Weight is 290.5 grams. This porringer belonged to Richard M. Seidlitz, whose early American furniture collection sold at a single auction at Sotheby's in the late 1980s. Thanks
