Four seasons old Garden statues Le Belvedere castle. This set of statues are something quite special! They were salvaged out of the secret garden of the Le Belvedere castle in Bel Air. This home was made with nothing but the best. The home itself was built from blocks of lime stone imported from Jerusalem. At one point this home was listed in Forbes magazine and the Wall Street Journal as one of the most expensive homes built in America. No expense was spared when building this home. It featured over 19 handcarved marble fireplaces shipped in from Italy. There was a movie theater a ball room to seat over 300 people and a beautiful Moroccan room that was actually painted by a man who worked for the king of morocco and then shipped over here and assembled. The beautiful home and garden has been in several movies and music videos .The garden featured eight gardens within itself. Beautiful pathways leading from one to another with the most amazing statues and water fountains. That is where this set of Fourseason statues was located. We believe it is possible that they were also shipped in from Italy along with the other marble statues and fountains. We know the statues are something quite special just by looking at them. There was also two iron lions that are being sold separate .We were unable to find anything quite like them. During construction of the home the original owner Mr. Mohamed Hadid drove by the estate and we were able to speak with him. The first think he asked about was his statues in the garden. At that time we were only working on the dismantling of the kitchen and fireplaces and did not start the garden area until a year later (phase four of the project) waiting to determine if the new owners wanted to keep the garden in tact. The statues are in overall good condition you can tell that they are very old. We were unable to find any markings or names on them or makers. We noticed that there is some rusting to the iron i’m not sure if they were pieced together or how they were originally made. It was great detail that went into making them and they truly are amazing. Two of the statues contain some cracking in the iron due to age. Try to include all of the detail in the photos
