Description
This beautiful cotton/synthetic orange peel quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a nice yellow background and a scalloped edge. The quilt was most likely made in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century.
It measures 82" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
There is quilting around the orange peel design and in a diamond pattern in the background, all at 6-7 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched binding are the same yellow used in the background, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of the Dayton, Ohio area.
