We put new batteries in and confirmed it works as it should. When you turn it on it constellations from the disk are shown in the blue area, it will projects onto a screen or a wall from the opposite end.
It is in very nice condition, we cleaned it up with a soft cloth.
It will not come with the batteries due to the weight, it takes 3 AA batteries.
