This offering is for an antique 19th century carved and turned wooden finial. The overall height is app. 19" and the finial retains it's original gold gilt colored paint in excellent condition. The finial is in the shape of a large urn sitting on a ring form stepped base which sits on a cove carved base. The urn through the bottom of the three ringed base were turned in one piece and the cove carved base was made separately. The height is 19" and the base measures app. 6.75" square. There are a couple of minor cracks as seen in our close-up photo's and the paint has very minor wear. The finial also has a slight lean to it from shrinking more on one side that the other with age buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 30.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
