This is a new condition commemorative mug/stein apparently given out and/or sold at Southern California's Oak Tree Racetrack cpmmemorating Rider Chris McCarron's Record 62 Wins in the 1996 season, a record that ties Bill Shoemaker. It is about 7" ( 17 cm) tall x 5" (12 cm) wide (+/- .5") at its widest point. The photos accurately show the mug's condition, but the color is not as faded as in some of the photos.
The bottom of the stein says "This 1997 Limited Edition Stein commissioned by Oak Tree Racing Association, honors jockey Chris McCarron, who tied Oak Tree's all-time record for stakes wins by a rider last leason. Through the 1996 Oak Tree meeting, McCarron shared the record of 62 wins with Bill Shoemaker. Santa Anita Park Arcadia, California".
The names, likenesses of their horses and jockeys, and racing silks are all around the stein. .There is also an informational sheet.

International shipping ok. The ebay and USPS delivery estimates are wildly optimistic. My experience is that international shipping will take 10 - 21+ days until delivery. Only Express Mail has a chance to meet the delivery estimate. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPERS NOTE: I cannot determine or pay any duties or know about quarantine your country may impose on any of my items. Please check with your local post office BEFORE buying or bidding so you don't get any unwelcome surprises. International First Class is the least expensive, but also is the least dependable. Please select your shipping option when buying.
INSURANCE NOTE: I try to insure every shipment of $20.00 or more by ebay's insurance. Unfortunately, 2012 postal regulations forbid insurance on certain types of postal shipping services to various countries. Also, unfortunately, I now usually only find out whether an item can be insured when I go to make out the shipping label. If insurance is incredibly important to you, email me before bidding and I will try to see if the least expensive shipping service can be insured. An example of the international differences is that at this time, Canada apparently forbids insurance on all postal service levels except Express Mail Parcels. In contrast, I have been able to insure First Class Parcels to both Argentina and Switzerland. I do not personally insure anything. UNINSURED SHIPMENTS ARE SENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
