Its clearly handmade, and the amount of effort that went into it is staggering.

even the ribbon portions aren't actually ribbons, they're strips of fabric cut, folded, creased, then sewn onto itself in flattened tubes. 

the crochet/macrame work in between the ribbons is all hand sewn, hand knotted.

the distance between ribbons is also just kind of eyeballed, so the spacing varies a little.

handmade, so there are imperfections, but they give it character. see close up shot.
