Collection Information
Sulis Fine Art is proud to present a large collection of sketches and watercolours from the British artist Frank Griffith. A very large number of sketches come from the artist's studio sale, each work is stamped 'Atelier Frank Griffith' and most are individually stamped with a catalogue number.
The paintings and graphic work that Griffith made during the early 20th century eloquently capture the spirit and character of the London Art Scene. Griffith was known for his adventurous and varied approach to the application of paint and the use of colour, while remaining faithful to his figurative draughtsmanship.
Please note the copy of the exhibition catalogue, associated with the artist's retrospective at Southampton City Art Gallery is not included in your purchase. However we are happy to provide more details upon request.
