DESCRIPTION:

The Justice League of America is one of the greatest titles in the history of comics. The Silver Age was starting to gather steam with the success of the Flash and Green Lantern when DC decided to go back to the team concept first established in All Star Comics with the Justice Society of America. As the years went by the team managed to go through quite a few incarnations. At the turn of the century they found what many consider to be their greatest success with a new line up featuring the traditional seven, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Aquaman and added Plastic Man. The team was a massive hit with fans. DC Direct celebrated the team's popularity with this fantastic looking set of bookends. On one side sits Plastic Man, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Batman. the other holds Superman, The Martian Manhunter, Flash and Green Lantern (Kyle version). Sculpted by William Paquet, the set offered today comes with it's original box.
