THE GENUINE ORIGINAL  RIB-STEPTM

MADE IN ENGLAND. Not a Chinese copy

For WHITE with BLUE STEPS: see SHOP or OTHER LISTINGS)

This Listing is for BLUE with WHITE STEPS

THIS IS THE ONE THAT WAS SUPPLIED TO THE 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS

Note; Now has WHITE steps NOT orange.

The pictures show examples of different fixings.

You will need a carabiner or shackle to be able to fix to ski eye or eye type fixing.

The Rib-Step now has a 316 Stainless Steel buckle as shown in the first and last pictures.

These buckles are rated at 1000kg.

The Rib-Step is an economic solution to getting back into your rib or inflatable from the water.

A useful safety item to carry.

Useful for smaller ribs/inflatables where there is not enough space to fit a ladder

It is fully adjustable to meet most fixing positions on a variety of ribs/ inflatables from tenders upwards. Max length is 1.3m. Min. length is 0.5m

The fixing point needs to be sound and substantial enough to take the weight of the user. A dedicated fixing eye could be fixed to the transom.

It is rot proof with all plastic /polyester/316 stainless steel.

It is made with 2 inch webbing which lays flat on inflatable tubes and is comfortable on bare feet.

Compact, flexible and easily stowed and once adjusted to the size required, is clipped in place in seconds.

Double strapping on the treads to keep the step open, for easy foot insertion.

Visible steps when in the water

THE RIB-STEP IS NOT A LADDER.

FLEXABLE ROPE TYPE LADDERS WITH SEVERAL RUNGS TO CLIMB DO NOT WORK, THEY JUST SWING IN UNDER THE BOAT.

THE RIB-STEP IS A ONE STEP UP. (LEG-UP)

IT SHOULD HANG APPROXIMATLY 18-20INS BELOW THE WATER LINE

OR TO A SUITABLE LENGTH FOR THE HEIGHT OF THE USER

2 step positions for children/adults without having to re-adjust.

This is a link to a short clip of the Rib-Step in use.

If you are thinking there will be a young, bikini clad model that I used for the filming I am sorry to disappoint,

you will just have to watch me, a seventeen stone, sixty plus, old bloke, but it does show how effective the Rib-Step can be!
