These exquisite bone china crescent dishes were made in England by the Royal Crown Derby Company in the Surrey shape and pattern known as 'Derby Posies'. The simple beauty of various colored flowers against a snow white background create a stunning 5" dish to be used as a knife rest - nut/candy dish - trinket dish or whatever dish. This pattern was produced from 1900-2003 using various shapes and was discontinued in 2003. It is believed these pieces are from about the 1970's. Two dishes have embossed scrolls on the bottom - one is plain. Having inspected them closely - I find no flaws - no chips, cracks or crazing in these well-cared for dishes. Priced elsewhere $18.00 and up-EACH.
