A  pottery bowl from the 1650's from China.

This is approx. 10" in diameter.  And stands approx. 2" tall.  It is grayish in color.

It has a very dark greenish block print around the inside. Small hand painted trim on the outside.

There is a center circular stripe of color that is a slightly orange tone.

The bowl is in fine condition with no cracks, chips, repairs.

On the bottom, the inner rim of the base has a bit of roughness.  Please see photo.

We purchased this in England many years ago and it has been on display in our home.

The antique shop owner told us this was from the 1650's and that it was an example of leather block printing.

We are only selling as we are down-sizing.
