TAGE FRID TEACHES WOODWORKING: Joinery, Tools and Techniques

Danish-born Tage Frid (1915-2004), a leading figure in the studio furniture movement, teaches the fine points of joinery in this highly-regarded guide, first published in 1979 (this is the 1980 second printing).

This copy is signed by Frid on the first page with a non-personalized inscription. Extremely rare: there are hundreds of Frid's books for sale online, but this in the only signed copy. This artist's autograph in any form seems nearly impossible to obtain.

The book lacks its original dustjacket but is otherwise in very nice condition. The glossy covers show only minor wear; the binding is firm; the text is mildly toned with age, otherwise without flaws.

Hardcover, 8.7" X 11.25", 206 pages, illustrated throughout. The photo of the Frid three-legged chair does not appear in the text.
