FAQ: Why won't this drawtube fit my short tube Meade DS reflecting tube???
Answer: It will fit! But to make this work, you have to take out the built in barlow from your short tube focuser and put it into this drawtube. That is not the easiest thing to do. So if you are not comfortable doing that, this is not an item you want to buy. Long tube DS scopes do not have the built in barlow in the focuser.
