Oscar Homolka was an Austrian film and theatre actor. 

After the Nazi rise to power he
moved to England and later fled Europe for the U.S.

He was nominated for an Academy
 Award for Best Supporting Actor in I Remember Mama (1948). Other films include  
Sabotage (1936), The Invisible Woman (1940), The Seven Year Itch (1955) starring 
 Marilyn Monroe.
