 Silver-Filled, Pro-Quality Silver-Bonded Wire is 6% fine silver (.999) over a brass core. 

Available in six different gauges, Silver-Filled wire can be manipulated like sterling silver, and can be wrapped and soldered. 

Dead-Soft wire is very pliable & can be easily bent into any number of shapes. 

It will not hold a shape in instances where it would be subject to tension, such as on a clasp. 

Half-Hard wire is pliable, but unlike Dead-Soft wire, it will maintain an intricate shape under tension.
