WWII STEEL PENNY / RATION TOKEN COLLECTION

Here is a collection of 3 original World War II items, as follows:

  • 1943 steel "wheat" penny - the only year pennies were made of steel instead of copper
  • both red and blue OPA food ration tokens (OPA = Office of Price Administration)

These are all high quality pieces. The OPA tokens are in mint condition and are from a recently opened original sealed WWII-era box. The steel penny is in Very Fine (or better) lightly-circulated condition.
