These fittings will allow you to block off the refrigerant lines to a rear A/C unit and use only a front A/C unit. This is a common way to bypass leaking underbody lines or rear A/C unit and regain normal A/C operation from the front unit.
These are extremely easy to install for any A/C technician or DIY mechanic.
These fittings are 6061 aluminum CNC machined in Michigan USA, the O-rings are quality HNBR rubber compatible with R-134a refrigerant, they may be a different color than shown in the pictures. The nuts are carbon steel bright zinc plated, made in China.
These fittings use a large M22 x1.5 thread nut for the (large) suction pipe connection. This was changed during the 2004 model year from a larger M27 thread. 2004 model years can use either one of these nut sizes, so it's best to get under the van before starting work and identify which nut exists. The M27 nut will be approximately 32mm across the flats, the M22 nut will be approximately 27mm across the flats.
These may fit vans of other years, if so please let me know so I can update my listing. You should examine the A/C lines in the intended vehicle before you order to make sure they will fit. If you take you your fittings apart and discover you have the wrong style, you can return these fittings to me at your shipping cost as long as they are in perfect unused condition.
The block off fittings are installed under the minivan body for 2004-2007 years, and under hood for 2008-2011 years . Lubricate the O-rings and threads with PAG oil before assembly.
