What happens when you get one of the Thailand’s signature dishes and you blend it with Thailand’s common household food company together?


Mama’s Pad Thai instant noodles!


Yup! Who says that you can’t enjoy a delicious Thailand home cooking from the comfort of your own home? And it only takes 3 minutes!


There are 2 ways to prepare it. Either by following the add hot water and wait version and said on the packaging, or by cooking on stove top like I like to prepare it :)

Dee’s Tip:

I prefer to cook it on a stove top just like its done for other noodle soup brands. These noodles are thinner and hydrate faster than you usual ramen or ramyun noodles, so here is how I make it.


- Bring 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water to a boil

- Add the noodles

- Add any veggies you would like (i like to add bean sprouts, green onions, fried tofu, thats true authenticity right there!)

- Don’t drain the water

- Rice noodles cook fast so don’t leave it too long

- Add the seasoning base, mix, and cover for a couple minutes

- Add protein if you like! it adds more flavor to the noodles

- Add crushed peanuts on top before serving makes it traditional!

- Ready to serve! Enjoy (^_^)


* If you are thinking that it sounds like a Thai chow mein, you are not wrong, but its the mix of flavors that makes this a Thai favorite. Pad Thai is beloved for its stir fried flavor and balance of sweet salty and textures


** if you have some chopped cilantro to add at the end, it brings another layer of freshness to the pad thai


Just because it is instant food, doesn’t mean that you can’t eat it like a home cooked meal. Easy and delicious, can’t go wrong with that (^_~)
