Born on February 7, 1904 in Onjuku Town, Chiba Prefecture.
Graduated from Meiji University Law Department in 1924.
Second place at the prize photo exhibition sponsored by Rolleiflex Camera in Germany.
In 1957, the "Group of Sea Girls" won the Prime Minister's Award at the Mainichi Newspapers' Japan Photo Art Exhibition.
In addition, he has been selected for several international photo salons.
He died on February 19, 2001 at the age of 97.
