Description:

The 5750/1990 Season's Greetings token is dedicated to the Israeli Offeq 1 satellite, depicted on its obverse as it encircles the globe. The partial biblical quote "A star out of Jacob" is taken from the Old Testament Book Numbers 24:17.

The token was issued and mailed to IGCMC subscribers during August/September 1989, towards Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) 5750.
