Antique Victorian 1860s Civil war era Ayrshire lace lappet cap is a striking piece with whitework embroidery on the net. It is antique creamy white in color.
Excellent condition to age ; a few pinholes to the net; one area at the top of the head where the lace edge is missing, but it appears to be deliberate to the design.
