This is an late19th Century masonic medal from Washington, D.C. .   

Obv.Reading, PA. Knights Templar crest in center "Reading (PA.) Commandery No. 42  of PA. Knights Templar" 

 Rev  "United States Capital " Washington, D.C. . 
Note: Medal is undated with  the U.S. Capital and Washington, D.C. on medal; I must assume this was issued 
for the  24th K.T. Triannial Conclave in Washington, D.C. Oct.8, 1889".

Rare in this condition (should be slabbed) None finer 
 
Shape Round   - Plain Edge -  Size 35 mm - Composition White Medal (holed as made for ribbon)
Grade Choice Uncirculated.   - Proof Like 
Could be considered a unlisted So Called Dollar


Purchased in 1973 Dorge Auction (George Fuld) Baltimore,.MD.
(had in collectioin 46 years).
