P-Style bass pickups offer the same great JBE tone, power, and response for the bass guitar as the Joe Barden ground breaking guitar pickups have done for the last 25 years. Available in Split and 50’s models, the JBE P-Style pickups were designed to maintain authentic Precision Bass™ tone and character with the extended frequency response and articulation that characterizes all JBE pickups. Every note is balanced and smooth across all strings. Intervals ring out with clarity and tone that make single-notes.and chords come alive.
The Split P-Style model is a traditional dual-coil pickup designed to be a direct replacement for most P-Bass pickups. The 50’s P-Style has a single pickup footprint and fits Tele, Sting, and ’51 P-basses without modification to the instrument. We also offer the JBE Split P-style pickups paired with a J-style bridge pickup for those who prefer the flexibility of a P/J bass. Like all other JBE pickups, the P-Style models are significantly quieter than other P-Bass pickups.
JBE P-Style pickups are designed for 4-string basses. All P-Style pickups use high-quality 2-conductor shielded cable and are supplied with treble bleed and tone capacitors, mounting hardware and wiring diagrams.
