LA-Riga is a tiny custom leather boutique in Los Angeles and it sits among all the other crazy, unique and cool shops along Melrose Ave. This family-owned shop has been in business for several decades. They do custom hand-made leather goods which means no two items are ever alike. I bought these shoes around 1989-90 on one of my many trips to LA while growing up in SoCal.

The suede and stitching is in good condition. There are some signs of wear on soles from all the dancing I did in these bad boys but they can easily be restored with some polish.

If you wanted that trendy rocker, new wave or just plain suave look in the club then you had these shoes. Forget vintage... good luck finding anything new that looks like these. I don't really want to sell 'em but the wife would disagree.
