Here is a beautiful Sands & Hunter British Tailboard camera. The camera is made of a high quality mahogany wood with brass fittings. The camera looks to be a half plate camera with the ground glass close to 5x7. It does not come with any film holders so I don't know its exact size. The bellows are original and in very good shape. I did not see light leaks. The ground glass is intact. The front has been modified to take a large lens. It has a Goerz Celor f5 9 1/2" lens on it and it throws a great image on the ground glass. The diaphragm works fine. The glass is clean and clear showing light wear. The front standard has rise and fall and the rear has swing and tilt. The camera folds up fine. It is missing the strap and the right clip that holds the back on the rear standard is not original. The camera makes a beautiful display piece.
