A delightful antique sterling silver mug.

A smaller sized mug flared waist and bulbous base, it has an out turned lip and a beautiful scrolling handle, possibly a christening mug.

The body has a smooth polished finish and the handle is engraved slightly.

It is made from solid sterling silver and is hallmarked to the body.

The mug has the sought after Chester assay mark, 1913, maker J & R Griffin (1896 - 1926)

J & R Griffin went into voluntary liquidation in 1926.

A Beautiful piece for the home, no personal engraving or inscriptions so would also make a great gift.
